The only UK-wide charity dedicated solely to preventing child sexual abuse. They work to prevent abuse from happening in the first place - and to prevent it from happening again if it already has. Where abuse has already taken place, they work with all those affected including adult male and female abusers; young people with harmful sexual behaviour; children with concerning sexual behaviours; and other family members. But they also work with families and with adults and young people where there has been no abuse, to help them keep themselves and others as safe as possible.  

A confidential helpline operated by the Lucy Faithfull Foundation for anyone concerned about inappropriate thoughts and feelings, and harmful online behaviour. They will advise callers about actions to consider and agree one or more protective actions callers will take. They can also put callers in touch with relevant local agencies and other sources of help and support, including web-based resources where relevant.

StopSO is a registered charity, aiming to prevent harmful sexual behaviour through therapy. Anyone who is concerned about their thoughts or behaviour, or knows someone who is acting inappropriately, can ask for our help. They have a UK-wide independent network of suitably qualified and experienced professionals who are supervised and include psychologists, psychotherapists and doctors.

The Marie Collins Foundation works in a range of ways to ensure that at every level the needs of victims and survivors are at the forefront of all decision making. They achieve this by supporting children, young people and their families affected by technology-assisted child sexual abuse by working with them directly and indirectly.

A non-profit organisation dedicated to educating people about online safety, privacy, security and digital wellness. Their resources include research-based safety tips, parents’ guidebooks, advice, news and commentary on all aspects of tech use and policy. They offer in-depth guides and quick-guides for adults, parents, educators, youth and policymakers.

A 12-step programme, and a safe space to heal from harmful sexual behaviours. Recovery meetings offer an accepting, non-judgemental environment with strict anonymity and confidentiality. Being part of SAA means having the choice of setting our own bottom line sexual behaviours. That means choosing what sort of sex we want with ourselves and others and which sort of sex we wish to avoid.

Sex addiction is a growing problem that can devastate lives. ATSAC is committed to providing hope, information, and treatment options to sex addicts and those who love them.

The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy is the professional association for members of the counselling professions in the UK. It's an online, searchable directory that features approximately 16,000 private therapists who offer services to the public. Only registered or accredited BACP members can advertise on this directory, ensuring that all the listed counsellors meet the standards for training, experience, and ethical practice.
